THESE PAGES ARE TO POST TRYOUT INFO BY TEAMS

The Central Ohio Youth Baseball League, as an entity, has organized an affiliation of youth teams throughout Central Ohio for league play.

If you are looking for a team to tryout for or to post your tryouts, select the proper age at the top of this page

THIS PAGE IS FOR COYBL TEAMS ONLY.

NO POSTINGS WILL BE APPROVED UNTIL WE REVIEW THEM.

IF YOU DO NOT INCLUDE THE WORDS, "WE WILL BE PLAYING IN COYBL IN 2023", YOUR POST WILL LIKELY BE DELETED.

  • COYBL  requires the following of all coaches:
  • Comply with the Ohio Laws on Heads Up Concussion training.
  • Comply with the Ohio  Lindsay's Law Training (Sudden Cardiac Arrest).
  • Comply with Federal laws on the Safe Sport Act training as well as Background checks. (This is good for 2 years)
  • Parents must comply with the Ohio Lindsay's Law Training.  Once on a team, parents will be given info by their head coach on how to comply online for this training.

The Central Ohio Youth Baseball League does not organize the teams, select or approve coaches, players or volunteers for any of the teams.

We urge all Parents to use due diligence when selecting a team to play for. Check into the Coaches background and his coaching philosophy and experience.

We do not get into the teams issues.

If there are concerns about abuse, theft or gross misconduct,  contact the police first and make a formal complaint and then contact the league President.

If as a parent or guardian, you make a verbal or written contract to a team, you are responsible to make full payment to that team before asking for a release (submitted to the Head coach and to your age group director for COYBL) to play on another COYBL team.

Requesting a release after full payment is made does not guarantee a release as that is up to the head coach.

COYBL will only get involved in this if there is suspected abuse of any kind.

You as a parent are responsible for the decisions you make for your child.
